1Co 5:7-8 ... Christians should keep Passover feast?

Hi,

did Paul encourage/command Christians to keep the OT Passover feast ?

1Cor 5,7-8 (AV)

7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth.

Are Paul's statements meant to be understood literally? or did he use figure of speech and was not talking about keeping the OT Passah/ Passover feast? If so, which figure of speech did he use in his statement?
