    @BroRando,

    1. What's the likelihood you will accept a free book from any of us on any topic knowing that you have been drilled not to take literature from anyone?
    2. Is this a continuation of your online proselytization of CD users and readers to get in your hours of witnessing?

    It's probably more reasonable to expect my questions to be answered by someone else or go unanswered, than to expect you to answer anything remotely concise or accurately. Were you taught to be evasive about the most straightforward crystalized question? If so, it doesn't speak well of you (individually or the Organization that carries to name "Witnesses." Personally, it makes you look uninformed, cowardly, and a religious charlatan. Is this truly how you and your organization want to be seen? If the answer is yes, it put you on the pathway to drink poison-laced". Who wants to listen or become a part of a group acting like bots, brainwashed, or moronic? This is not biblical or Christianity. Check yourself and encourage your organization to change its training tactics.

    In addition to my questions above, here's more directly on the topic at hand:

    • Did you know that OT is used in the book of Revelation? For example, the 1440,000 alludes to Exodus 15?
    • The Watchtower Society teaches that the 144,000 of Rev 7:4 is to be taken literally. If chapter 7 of Revelation is to be taken literally, where then does the Bible say that the 144,000 will come from? (See Rev 7:5- 8).

    Please note:

    The 144,000 are those who come out of great tribulation. To be clear, according to the Greek, "out of the tribulation, the great one." This is an apparent reference to the great time of trouble just preceding the second coming of Christ.

    Who are the 144,000?

    • Is this number literal or symbolic in The book of Revelation? See also, Revelation 7:13-17.
    • Does it have any relevance today?
    • How many are "sealed"?
    • What does it mean to be "sealed"?
    • What particular "song" this group will sing?

    Despite what your organization said:

    “In 1914 Jehovah set his anointed One upon his throne; therefore at that time Christ Jesus took his authority as King. Three and one-half years thereafter, to wit, in 1918, the Lord came to his temple, which is the Temple of God.”

    What does the biblical text say? CM

    Don't be deceived. Almost everything, it seems, from the JW Watchtower is deceptive. Satan just can't tell truth.

    “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves." Mt 7:15

    Whether taken literally or figuratively (I lean literal), not one of the 144,000 will be a JW unless that JW presently happen to be a chosen unsaved Jew who leaves the JW cult teachings of the Watchtower and its false prophets.

    Only those who do not previously walk with God and are not taken up to be with him will be among the 144,000. So, the 144,000 would presently be unsaved. The book above is as false as all JW prophecies have proven to be.

  • (Foreword)

    As a student of Prophecy, the passing of time often reveals the timing of such divine declarations. The Prophets that announced them do not always know the exact timing.  Although, the Prophet Ezekiel announced the coming of the destruction of Jerusalem over and over again stating, “An end is coming; the end will come; it will rouse itself against you. Look! It is coming.” (Ezekiel 7:6) It’s not likely he knew the hour and day of that destruction of Jerusalem, but that time limit can be found about the twelve tribes. Ezekiel is directed to enact Jerusalem’s coming siege by lying before an engraved brick for 390 days on his left side and 40 days on his right, while subsisting on meager amounts of food and waterIf we applied the pattern of a year for a day then both 390 years and the 40 years pointed to the destruction of Jerusalem's temple at the point of time in 607 BCE.

    In answer to the question “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?” Jesus Christ himself stated; “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36)

    However, in the Book of Daniel, Bible Prophecy did point to a specific time period. Taking the time limit of 2,520 years and adding them to the time of destruction of the temple in Jerusalem 607 BCE, the timing lined up to the year 1914 CE.

    The Sealing of the 144,000 is now at hand. Another timed event that needs no guess work. Jesus replied to them: “Tear down this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” (John 2:19) The Bible points out that Jesus was not talking about the temple made with hands, “But he was talking about the temple of his body.” (John 2:21)  Could the temple of his body be the 144,000 of his anointed followers also known as the Body of Christ?

    I hope you find reading this ebook entitled “The Sealing of the 144,000” insightful and inspires hope and confidence in your hearts as the day of Christ’s Millennial Reign approaches.

    Take Care,

    Brother Rando

     @BroRando,

    I find it ironic to write or offer me a book on the 144,000, and you can't or will not answer a few of my questions above. I trust you have read the book. You don't grasp the content of the subject matter, CD Posters don't matter, or we're not worthy of your time? Are you so self-confident without trying to establish relationships and regard others? Do I get the sense that people are only good to you as much as they are willing and able to listen to you, read your literature, or join your religious order? Have you developed this attitude on your own, or is this behavior is taught in the "Kingdom Halls"? Does WBTS do any quality control of how its members are seen or behave in the public eyes? JWs are not the only religious group in town. You don't have the best reputation in many places globally, and your behavior in the forums is not helping.

    This pamphlet of twelve pages you called a book is just one more propaganda literature of the WBTS. You failed to say you are the compiler of this work. The sources you compiled it from are the likelihood from the same broken cistern generated by one of the early leaders. In short,  @BroRando, your so-called book (pamphlet), is a rehashed and continuation of Charles Taze Russell (1852-1916). He was an American religious leader, founded a sect known as Russellites or Millennial Dawnists, which provided the nucleus for the Jehovah's Witnesses sect today. Russell was the husband of Maria Frances Ackley.

    @BroRando had commented about how Russell made some supposedly significant comments about chronology in the year 1914, even suggesting that Russell proposed we add 120 years to 1914 which would bring us to 2034. 2034 is a date considered very significant by @BroRando.

    This little work (compilation) by you,  @BroRando, is an attempt to breathe miasmic religious air and resurrect a repetitive failed prophecy of the past. JWs let it go. You were wrong when you conceived it, maintained it, your frequency to renew it, and now, your attempt to resurrect it. This thing is dead and needs to be buried. Study the Scriptures anew with prayer and the aid of the Holy Spirit. It would be best to amend your ways to affect these forums and the world positively. CM

    Rather horrifying to see what kind of robotic mind-controlled thing the Watchtower turns a person into.

    These forums should be kept as a warning and reminder to all

  • Prophecy

    "Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the undeserved kindness meant for you made a diligent inquiry and a careful search.  They kept on investigating what particular time or what season the spirit within them was indicating concerning Christ as it testified beforehand about the sufferings meant for Christ and about the glory that would follow.  It was revealed to them that they were ministering, not to themselves, but to you, regarding what has now been announced to you by those who declared the good news to you with holy spirit sent from heaven. Into these very things, angels are desiring to peer." (1 Peter 1:10-12)

    The Prophets that announced the prophecy did not always know the exact timing. For instance, the Prophet Ezekiel announced the coming of the destruction of Jerusalem over and over again stating, “An end is coming; the end will come; it will rouse itself against you. Look! It is coming.” (Ezekiel 7:6) Yet, he did not state this would occur in 607 BCE.  It’s not likely he knew and if he did, it was not for them to know. In this case ‘them’ is referring to the unfaithful Jews who were doing detestable things in Jehovah’s Holy Temple. However, the Bible did point to the time of 607 BCE. The 390 days and the 40 days that were revealed to Ezekiel by laying on his side indicated significance. If we apply the pattern of a day for a year then both 390 years and the 40 years pointed to the destruction on 607 BCE.

    Jesus Christ, the great prophet, stated in part of his answer to the conclusion of this system of things or the end of the age, “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36)  Think about his reply for a moment, here, Jesus Christ makes the claim of not knowing that day or hour.  The firstborn of all creation did not know the day or hour of his second presence and he claimed the angels did not know either. Recall this scripture?  “It was revealed to them that they were ministering, not to themselves, but to you, regarding what has now been announced to you by those who declared the good news to you with holy spirit sent from heaven. Into these very things, angels are desiring to peer.” (1Peter 1:12)  What you may find interesting is that date and hour was already embedded in the Bible through past prophecy in the Book of Daniel. The Temple would be destroyed in October of 607 BCE. The “seven times” was a calculation of the Jewish year of 360 days. Simple math 7 x 360 = 2520 days. Apply a day for a year. The seven times is actually a reference to the allotted time limit of the Gentiles. It is a ‘timed event’.

    A good way to calculate this, is that there seems to be a year missing. There was 3 months left on 606 BCE when the counting of the time limit began and 9 months to count of the year when the time limit of the Gentile Times came to its conclusion. That’s 1 year. Now, take a calculator and put in 606 then hit the +/- sign so it shows -606 then add 2520 to it. What year do you come up with? 1914!

    Any Jewish Scholar from the time of Daniel could've figured this out by simple history. So why was this prophecy hidden from faithful worshippers of Jehovah? Then he said: “Go, Daniel, because the words are to be kept secret and sealed up until the time of the end.” (Daniel 12:9

    The Fulfillment of Prophecies are 'timed events'.  They have a Beginning and an End to them which covers a specific time period. Knowing such dates of a prophecy once revealed to those who are being ministered to, does not necessarily beget salvation. It doesn't give a person divine protection or extraordinary insight but it may make a person more accountable to Jehovah.”  One would need to walk by faith...

    @BroRando,

    Are you willing to discuss the "Book" (pamphlet) you compiled? I am sure you do! So, please tell from your book and other JWs literature the answers to my questions on the 144,000:

    1. What group in the Bible is equated with the 144,000 of Revelation chapters 7 and 14?
    2. From whence are the 144,000 sealed? What does this group become?
    3. When did the "sealing" of the 144,000 begin, and until when?
    4. What are the 144,000 "sealed" to be?
    5. What Christians will go to heaven to be with Christ?

    These questions should be within your wheelhouse. Therefore, don't look are expect any help or detractions from  @Bill_Coley. However, he shares your flagship doctrine ("Jesus is not God"). At best, Coley is a closet JW and sympathizer like his former side-kick and poster, Wolfgang Schneider. CM

    I can't speak for Wolfgang, but I'm much too busy in my "closet" practicing my "slick-charlatanry lip-service to the Word and Christ" and serving as BOTH a "spiritual prostitute" AND a "spiritual butcher," while ensconced in my "stale brooding" AND trying to find time to remove my "cloak of [a] Bible-believing, Christ-follower" to offer any help or distractions.
